I’m sharing this picture of the beach in winter, to remind myself what snow looks like…I really enjoy the winter and I would love to see some more (any?) snow on the ground before we hit spring! Until then I’ll make do with pictures of winters gone by.
A cozy drink for chilly days: chai-spiced cider. Put a couple of cinnamon sticks, star anise pods, a few cloves and cardamom pods into a saucepan of cider; add maple syrup to sweeten. Let steep for half an hour or so, to let all the flavors really come out. Enjoy!
