Welcome! I intend for this website and blog to be a dwelling space for my creative interests…a place for me to share ideas, favorite finds and pictures of projects, past and present. The name “bundle and bean” is a tribute to two of our dogs who, in their respective states of relaxation, look very much like a bundle and a bean!
A little about me: I’m a native New Englander who grew up in the Boston area and on the Cape. I attended Cornell University, where I majored in psychology, and some time after that pursued my doctorate in clinical psychology at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. After becoming a licensed clinical psychologist I took myself back to school and became certified as an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant, through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. For more information pertaining to my studies of health and wellness, please visit my website: www.elizabethgeuss.com.
As I progressed through these academic programs, my desire to spend more time with creative pursuits - whatever the flavor – only grew; as much as I loved what I was learning, there was a big part of me that I had put aside in favor of strict academia, and I eventually realized that I had been neglecting my creative self! I wanted to find a way to integrate all of my interests, both left and right-brained, which led to me planning more events, including bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays and seasonal parties; I expanded my adventures in cooking and re-discovered my inner crafter. I’m feeling much more myself as a result of these explorations, and this website has been born as a hub for these interests, be they crafty, food-related or design-based. I look forward to sharing some of my projects with you.
Please enjoy, and thanks for visiting!
